Saul, tormented by the spirit, lies shaking on the floor of his chamber. David plays the harp, sweat running down his face. Saul stares at him, haunted. SAUL: "Do you enjoy making me weak, David?" DAVID: "No, my lord." SAUL: "Then why do you look at me like that? Like you pity me. Like you love me." DAVID: (a beat) "Because I do." SAUL: "Liar." (throws a spear at the wall) DAVID: "You don't believe me?" SAUL: "I believe you belong to him now." (meaning Jonathan) DAVID: "I never did. I only ever belonged to you." ........ Or a twist retake on the famous biblical story of king David based on my take and imagination on the biblical story
