Corra Ellington is a trainee under the watchful eye of the gods and goddesses of Haemis, just as any other mortal who lived in the Garden. The serenity and peace of the Garden proves its strength in the world until the body of a mortal is found, washed up and butchered from beyond the Garden.

When rumors spread of the barriers weakening, the Oracle leaves a prophecy foretold from centuries ago of a waging war in the beyond. When panic seems on the brink of overturning the Garden of Haemis, a selected group of five must leave to return peace back to their home.
