Tate Langdon had been feeling lonely and alone for a long time. Since losing Violet, he felt worse than ever before. He regretted everything he had done and just wanted to disappear from this world. He told himself more and more that he wasn’t worth being happy. He missed  Violet so much. Four years later, after she said goodbye to him, he began to understand that he really had lost her. He started to feel emptier than he already did. As a ghost, he didn’t realize that this was even possible, but he was dead proof that you could feel even emptier. He began to think back more and more about his life before his death, how he began to see everything darker, how his mother had his brother killed how she wanted to force a life on him that he never wanted, how they moved into the murder house and how he slowy began to give in to the darkness, he despised his mother so much and regretted ever giving Michael into her arms, he began to realize that he wanted to see Michael grow, he didn’t wanted the child or baby at first because he was disgusted with himself, how could he have raped Violet’s mother, he knew why, he did it for nora who was like a mother to him what his own mother never was for him.That doesn’t explain or sugarcoat what he did in any way, but despair and grief always win over everything, isn’t that right?.
