And lies... they hurt.
They hurt you so deeply - especially when they come from someone you trust.
Someone you love.
Someone you dream of sharing everything with - the joy, the pain, the little moments that make life worth living.
Someone dear.
Someone who means the world to you.

*"We made a deal. Did you forget?"* he asked, pain and anger flashing in his eyes.

"I-I didn't forget, but-"
You couldn't finish. The words wouldn't come. Regret and tears spilled from your eyes, soaking into your soul.

"-But what, huh?" he snapped, stepping closer.
*"You promised. We promised we wouldn't hide anything from each other. Didn't you trust me?"*

"No, I did! I swear, I just-"

"There's no excuse, Y/n." His voice cracked, heavy with emotion.
*"You didn't just hide it... you 'lied'. You 'fucking lied' to me."*

There were no words left.
No explanation that could undo the damage.
No apology strong enough to mend what broke.

He had been through injuries, gunshots, near-death experiences...
But nothing had ever hurt like this.

This pain wasn't physical.
It was a storm - wild, ruthless, shattering every piece of his heart.

This pain is going to be hard to heal or...
will never heal.

He turned away.

You cried after him, your voice breaking with desperation.
You never meant for any of this.
You never wanted to lose him.
But life never worked in your favor.
Just like your mother used to say:

*"Life doesn't move according to your will."*
And she was right.
So painfully right.
