When the sickness came, it was slow and unsuspecting, that is, until it started eating away at everything-literally.
Now, Emery and her brother Finlay are on the run from the infected world, trying not to become the monsters around them.
Along with Finlay's girlfriend, Sophia, and a few other survivors they pick up along the way, they battle the unliving and fight to stay alive.
As sass and love compete with grief and fear, the group must face a harsh question: How do you survive when the world around you is dead?

I feel like it's obvious, but in case it's not: this book contains people dying. It also contains some bloody and gross scenes.

The End
We all were hiding in random places, apparently any place we could find. There were a ton of zombies, the whole place was full of them. Many people from our group were lost to the virus. Muffled voices, blurred vision and heavy breathes were heard. The ship which everyone had longed for soon arrived. The plan was to run to the ship and never look back. The ferry was anchored at the harbor and on the signal, everyone ran for their precious lives, not daring to look back. Some people couldn't make it in 'The End' .
