A Good Girl Lies Better

'A Good Girl Lies Better'
She was the girl nobody noticed, or did not want to acknowledge that they did.
Until the day she wanted to be noticed and they could not deny anymore.
The evening celebration painted the halls pink and red and with lovers' bliss,
she walked in wearing something that made the air shift- heads turned, pulses stuttered, and for one breathless moment, everyone saw her.
By midnight, someone was dead.
Eighteen years old. One birthday. One body.
And a town that thinks it knows exactly who to blame.
The investigation is messy. Are the police up to the mark?
The truth is buried somewhere between whispered rumors and carefully constructed lies.
There's a killer walking free.
There's someone who wants blood for blood.
And there's a darkness crawling beneath the surface of every 'good girl' smile that no one thought to question.
Because here's the thing about good girls -
They lie better.
