Not Even Death Can Keep Us Apart
Buck and Eddie have always had such a special bond that everyone wishes they had in a person. Someone that is just their person inside and out. Everything changes in a blink of an eye, and Buck suddenly feels he has to fight every part of himself to get better, mentally and physically. And Eddie has been there helping Buck pick up the pieces after his accident. During the fight for his life, Buck also realized his true feelings for someone. But during his healing, he also gets a shocking surprise. One that just might give Buck the push he needed in his life to keep pushing forward. After helping Buck pick up the broken pieces of his suffering, what will happen between the two? Will their sparks ignite into something more? Or will those same broken pieces only break them apart. How will the Diaz boys react to Buck's upcoming surprise? How will Buck react? This is my first time ever writing a fanfic, and it is a Buddie (Buck x Eddie from 9-1-1) because it feels NEEDED! lol Tigger warning though, there is talk about abuse and mental health issues, there will be a warning on top of the chapter. Buck nodded to Eddie to accept the coffee, and then realization hit. His smile dropped and he stared ahead. This is really happening. Eddie is leaving. He looked at all the houses on display in his hands. He was going to be left all alone. The sting he felt in his chest, felt even deeper than when Tommy dumped him. - takes place after S8A -Concluida

"When do I get to be happy, Eddie? When do I get to have what I want? Where do I find this person?" Buck almost sobs. Eddie is so fucking done holding back; he's done watching Buck be mistreated; he's done hiding who he is; he's done hiding how he feels; he's so fucking beyond done with not having Buck where he belongs. Eddie makes his choice; it's time. "Maybe they are closer than you think, Buck," Eddie whispers into Buck's ear. Buck stiffens, and Eddie doesn't panic. He waits it out. Buck takes a deep breath and tightens his hold around Eddie's ribs. Buck leans back and looks into Eddie's eyes. Eddie reaches up and wipes the tear away from under Buck's eye. He slides his hand down to cup Buck's jaw. "Can I?" Eddie asks, and Buck gives him a very firm nod of approval. Eddie pushes up on the balls of his feet and softly presses his lips to Buck's.Concluida

Buck is a young adventurous firefighter who loves the people in his house like his family, but when the new guy shows up he feels he is being replaced. However the feelings Buck has for Eddie are confusing and not all bad. How will he keep these feeling under control in such a dangerous job? Eddie is an ex military vet, with a son who is full of life. In the light of an accident Eddie begins to notice his heart pulling for Buck. However he is not sure how that will work with his life. They were in a happy, blissful bubble. Even Eddie's parents had accepted Buck after weeks of questioning Eddie. First time they'd seen Buck expertly handle Christopher during one of his teenage tantrums, they knew Buck was good for them. So that's why when Eddie came home to find Buck packing with tears in his eyes, he was completely blindsided. ~~~~~~~ Eddie and Buck had been together 3 months when everything fell apart.
