Welcome to the town of Stellaris home of the quant little shop Petals and Pastries

Sun is a baker and Moon is a florist.
Both run their businesses in the same shop.
When a college freshman moves into town and applies for a job at the shop, she's not surprised that the owners are animatronics. What surprises her is how human they feel, how deeply connected to the town they are, and how quickly she starts to feel like part of their odd little family.
But as tensions in the outside world rise, calls to roll back animatronic rights, rumors of anti-AI laws being passed, Stellaris becomes a fragile bubble. And when the shop is targeted by a shadowy organization looking to "decommission" independent AIs, she finds herself fighting not just for her new job, but for the people who made this strange place feel like home.
