It has been 7 years since you joined the circus.
You only knew that as you had been counting each day with tallys in your notebook that you hid under your pillow at night. It was like sleeping on the days you had lost,replacing them with your dreams of the original life now gone probably for forever.
Your relationship with the group was varied depending on the person but your most interesting connection was with the "Ringmaster" or some would say your "Prison warden" but the group called him Caine. Caine was the AI who looked after humans who ended up in the circus! He kept things in control and sent the gang off on adventures!...
