In Chicago's underground, survival is everything. Soraia Morrow knows how to stay quiet, how to protect her family, and how to bury the magic running under her skin. But her power refuses to stay hidden - and neither does her heart. With the city divided, the streets dangerous, and magic rising, Soraia's forced to choose between keeping her family safe or stepping into the war brewing beneath Chicago's surface. The only constant? Parker Robbins - gang leader, feared name, and the love of her life. They've survived four years side by side - dangerous, loyal, impossible to break. But when new players start shifting the balance - including a genius with tech no one understands - their grip on the city starts to crack. Now, with magic pulling Soraia in deeper and enemies closing in, love might be the deadliest risk of all. "Magic binds. Love destroys. And some hearts were never meant to survive either."

CROSS POSTED Tony was not okay. Tony was the exact opposite of okay. Tony, stupid, stupid Tony, not only recruited a teenager, he recruited a teenager that was now being targeted by Hydra. This had to be his fault. Hydra must have somehow found out Peter helped him in Germany and picked him out as the weakest link. They wanted to find a way to get to the Avengers, to get to Tony, and they found it. ***** In the aftermath of Civil War, the Accords have been sorted out, but the Avengers are far from mended. Their issues must be pushed aside, however, when Peter Parker, who has until then kept his real identity a secret, arrives at Stark Tower to tell Tony that May is missing. It will take the whole team to figure out what Hydra has planned, but they are nowhere near prepared for what they will find. PS: I promise the writing does get better! I was expecting this to be a shorter fic, but as you can tell it kind of ran away from me and I take it more seriously than I did in the beginning! Thanks for reading!
