Another story I made during Creative Writing, the idea I'm very proud of.
In our world, "actions speak louder than words," is a common saying. But on Jupiter, a planet of where things are louder than Earth, movements are spoken aloud by some unknown force that's later revealed. It's sad how fast the human mind can adapt to one thing, taking hundreds of years. But when it's needed in seconds, the only outcome is something most refuse to discuss. It's also sad how often the government forces us to do so.

Behind the Dark
The breaking of worlds is much louder than one might think. While in all natural senses it is nearly silent; no birds flying about and singing their songs, no noises from the heavy traffic mere feet away from where I stand, no airplanes cutting seams into the otherwise-perfect blue sky, my ears ring with the deafening roar only I seem to hear. As if made of glass, the atmosphere shatters and rips apart, plunging me into a realm of ice-cold, pitch black darkness.

More often than not, expectations shatter like glass, what you give your all to may still fall short. What seems clear at first glance may only be a mask. In the world we live in, thoughts get lost. Not because they want to disappear, but because we're too afraid to think them. Some are naughty, some forbidden, some simply unwanted. We don't want to think them. We can't. We don't have the time to. We're not brave enough. So we push them away, shift them to places where they're harder to find-far beyond what is allowed, desired, or considered good. But sometimes the mind takes a journey to visit them again. It vanishes for a while. But every traveler returns-often carrying even more baggage than they initially took with them. Dive into the hidden corners of the mind, where forbidden thoughts roam, fears linger, and unexpected freedom awaits. And dare to feel your thoughts with me. I promise to hold your hand.
