Sayaka asked, pointing at Satoru on the far side of the backyard.
"Oh, him?" Suguru smiled, clearly delighted to be talking about that specific person. "That's my best friend, Satoru. He's really lively and easy to be around. I'm sure he'd like you."
Spoiler: he didn't. Leave it to Satoru to spin one harmless introduction into the idea that Suguru had a thing for a girl he did not have a bit of romantic interest in.
