The weight of a crown is great and burdensome. Not everyone can just assume the position to rule. It requires conviction and wisdom. This is something Sasha must learn before she could ever take her father's place.

Recently, King Argos XIII passed away to an incurable illness, leaving his only child as the rightful heir to the kingdom. However, rather than handing the throne to his daughter, the king names a witch as the regent, until Sasha is of proper age to rule. This does not sit well for many, but no one objects to the dying command of the king.

Sasha does not object at first, but soon learns that the regent has been making a string of questionable decisions. She also learns that members of the royal court may have been conspiring to help the witch rise to power. Unsure who to trust, Sasha must now delve into the dark world of the court and discover the truth: about the witch's ascension, the conspirators and why her chose a witch as the regent.

I stop, putting my hands on my hips. "Are you going to order all of them?" "If I want to, yes, I will." He doesn't budge. I sigh, sitting next to him. "You know that you don't have to do this. I can go buy my own dresses." "I know, but I want to see you wear dresses that I chose. Besides, is it so wrong to want to spend time with you?" ______ Note: This is entirely my work. I want to see if I'm able to write something without a plot set up for me. I hope you like it!
