Alec Merrinson is swept off the streets he was forced onto by the death of his parents and taken to "The Academy". With only a tattered old book as company, he works on learning the art that his parents held dear.
I have absolutely no idea where this is going, it's one of the few stories I've written where I type the first words that come to mind with only a little editing.
