"Orbiting Power: is a compelling narrative, set within the cutthroat world of Lagos State University's student politics. It exposes how genuine affection is often a facade for calculated strategy, where relationships are built on value exchange rather than true connection. Through internal monologues, overheard conversations, and unspoken observations, the book reveals the intricate web of loyalty, betrayal, and hidden agendas. It's a stark look at how individuals become "functional, not emotional," and how quickly one can be "timed out" when their strategic value diminishes. The first act culminates in a tense realization for several characters, hinting at the difficult truths and inevitable fallout to come.
