The war with Gaea is over and suddenly, Aphrodite sends Leo Valdez on a quest. Will Leo succeed in finding Calypso in this "quest for love"?
Author's Note: This is JUST FAN FICTION. I wrote this back on May 30, 2014, when The Blood of Olympus had not yet been released. Some of the characters are from Rick Riordan's Heroes of Olympus series, like Leo Valdez. Some are based on Greek mythology. Some are from my imagination, who you will meet as you read on. Enjoy!

The choiceless hope in grief
Leo Valdez has lived and died for the gods. Their war has shaped his life since he was a baby. With Gaia defeated, he sort of hopes he can finally rest. He has friends and some semblance of home to return to for the first time since he was eight years old. Just this once, he allows himself to hope the good things might stick. But the gods aren't done with them just yet, and by the time Leo finds his way back, Jason is gone. This time, Leo decides he's done just taking the Fates' bullshit lying down. If getting his best friend back means striking a deal with the gods and venturing into the Underworld... well, it's probably not even the most reckless thing he's ever done. The caveat of said deal? He has to trust Jason will follow him, or his self-doubt will doom them both. And after the life he's lived, Leo is so intricately familiar with self-doubt that he could probably trademark the word. - Or: The only possible way for Orpheus to succeed is if he learns to think of himself as a person worth loving. The Return of Leo Valdez (After Blood of Olympus)
Everyone at Camp Half blood and Camp Jupiter believe Leo is dead. However, Leo is very much alive. He just reunited with Calypso, the most beautiful deity he's ever seen. Now Leo and Calypso must make their way back from Ogygia to Camp Half-Blood. It seems like an impossible task, trekking over 1,000 miles on a rickety old dragon with monsters everywhere, on every corner. But Leo built the Argo 2, tamed the metal dragon, channeled fire. You can't stop him. You can't stop the repair boy. Meanwhile, other problems arise for the rest of the seven. Frank, Reyna and Hazel must make it back to Camp Jupiter alive in one piece. Simple enough? Wrong. It's completely on foot with monsters flooding the streets. Also, old memories begin to haunt the team, that may change them forever. The rest of the seven, joined by the Hephaestus cabin, must figure out a way to locate Leo, and get him back to camp safely. They try to make their way back to camp, but old grudges are still being held. Enemies have not forgotten. And when one of them comes back for revenge, Leo and Calypso are hurled into one of their most dangerous challenges yet. In the meantime, the rest of the seven are frantic. They beat Gaea, but their victory came with too high a price. But six months after the battle, they begin getting signs and visions of their lost hero. Could Leo really be back?Concluida
