Many Autobots had hoped that the War would be brief, but the rage of the Decepticon army spread too far, too fast. The conflict spread from Cybertron, through the massive space bridges to the far reaches of space. Systems were conquered and stripped of their precious resources to fuel the engines of subjugation. The heroic Autobots raced to head off their enemies and protect the sentient beings of the universe, but hope was scarce in the face of such reckless hate. Still, the forces of good were starting to function less like a loose rabble of resistance, and more like an organized unit. One such regiment, led by the master strategist Prowl and his smooth talking brother Bluestreak, mobilized to engage a Decepticon invasion force, when they stumbled upon a discovery that could change the course of the war...
