Sure Thing
[𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄] 𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐍 𝐉𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐒 30 Months... Almost three years since my accident. My first game playing pro in the NHL and I blew it. Many people have tried to help me but I'm past giving a fuck now. I just want to be left alone to drink my sorrows away. It's clear I'm never going to play pro again, so why do people continue to push me towards getting help? I don't want it. Until I do. All she has to do is whisper, "It's simply a setback. Which means you come back stronger." 𝐒𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐁𝐘 𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐑 30 Months... Almost three years since everything in my life changed. I've loved, I've lost, and yet I still have some light in my life. I've been fighting for so long that I don't know the difference now. I thought my career was over. My fear of men completely debilitates me from doing what I have always dreamed of. Until him. All he has to do is scowl at me and knock my son over. With strengths and weaknesses being put to the test, it will take everything in them not to crumble from the pressure. After all, too much weight and the ice will crack. Even though I'm a mess and I still don't think I'm good enough for him, I want to date him. I haven't managed to scare him off with my panic attacks, mood swings and no touching rules so I don't think that if I tell him about what happened that night he will stop showing interest. ****** Shy, broken Chase wonders if he'll ever be able to love and trust again, if he'll ever get over the trauma of what happened, if he'll ever be happy again. A story, in which a typical teenage girl falls for the school's bad boy. Except, she's not that typical and he's not that much of a bad boy. *** "If I told you that I care about you, more than anyone in your life does, would you believe me?" He asked me, his jaw clenched. I could tell he was furious. Yet somehow, I wasn't scared of him. "No" I shook my head bravely. "If I told you,'' He tried again, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath before continuing.''That you make me so fucking mad, I want to punch a fucking wall. What would you say?" He had me trapped now, my back painfully colliding with the wall behind me. I gasped at the impact, looking up into his icy grey eyes. They were cold, emotionless. As always. "Do it!" I dared him with the last ounce of courage I had left in me. The sound of his fist smashing through the wall right next to my head, made my ears ring for a brief moment. I opened my mouth to speak again, shaking slightly, only for him to pull away and leave me standing there alone. ____ !!Warning!! To heal a broken heart
Holly Woods. A sweet personality, shy and loving. She's mistreated at home, bullied at school and drowns in self-hatred due to her curvy plus-size body. The only thing keeping her going is her best friend Juli. While struggling with all of this her onesided love for Juli's handsome twin brother adds to her pile of misery. Her heart broken by so many burdens, Holly's mind turns darker and darker each day. But what if Juli's brother slowly finds out about all of her problems? What if he starts fighting for her? Will they end up happily or is this the turn to even worse events? ⚠️Warning⚠️ This story is very cliche and contains graphic depictions of violence, strong language, depression and other mature themes. It's probably pretty bad as well since my first language is German, not English and my writing style and view on story lines and lead characters kinda developed some more since I wrote this.
