Aurelia Briar Winters has a crush on her best friend, Hayden Leo Walter, who she met when she moved. Ever since she saw that little boy next door, she had fallen. She had been quite young to know or realize what actual love was except knowing it from her mama's loving kisses, her papa's warm hugs, but when she did realize what she felt for him, she had considered Hayden her first and only love ever since.

No one knows her feelings though. Aurelia, scared of losing Hayden, locked her heart from the world. But one day, unable to keep her love unspoken any longer, Aurelia decided to confess, but she would also not be confessing at the same time, she would be confessing through a letter, under the name of her favorite flower 'Rose' because she would also give him a rose with her letter to symbolize her deep affection and admiration. Thinking Hayden would not try to seek her, she confessed with all of her heart, putting everything she had felt in her letter, using ink on the paper just to have Hayden know there is someone out there that loves him, in a romantic way though.
