I was a pitiful excuse for a human, and a even worse vampire. I knew it when a hunter was about to kill me and I rolled over for him. I barely knew what I was let alone how to be what I'm supposed to be. How was I gonna defend myself?
The hunter took me in, surprisingly. I don't know why he didn't kill me. He was about to before I rolled over, then he froze, and stared at me. He gave me a place to stay, and let me feed on him. He acted like he was responsible for me.
I was safe and taken care of.
But then....he never came home.
