Prince Holland finds himself dead in the underworld one year before he is set to take over the throne as king of the warlocks. In order to get back up he must figure out who killed him and how he died. He finds himself waking up in the kingdom of the underworld, being taken care of by the gorgeous princess Aliana. She promises to help him get out, and he promises to keep her safe in the underworld. They soon find out in order to keep the undead from the living they must wed in order to become king and queen of both worlds, and they find themselves falling for each other quickly. On their journey they meet an exiled fire warlock, an extremely rare steel warlock and an almost unheard of land siren, granted the powers of earth.
