For years princess Isolde of Velithra has known her fate.

The Comórtas Ceangail or "binding tournament" where suitors of all seven realms compete for the hand of the second born royal of house Elyria of Velithra. While others are freely able to chose their lovers and mates, those who participate in the Comórtas Ceangail are chosen as young children when the second born is decreed and bound to surrender their bond until after the tournament ends and a victor is signaled. The royal? Protector of the realm with their magic while their bond is suppressed, forced to watch the tournament ensue as their bond chosen by the beings above fights their rivals to surrender or death.
Bound by the tournament, Isolde waits until her 2100th year where her tournament arises. With old and new enemies arising, choices to be made, and new powers to unfold, is all truly fair in love and war?
