15 year old Riley was born with a strange birthmark on her shoulder blade, a crescent moon with a diagnal line slicing through it.

Her mother claims it is because she has a connection to the moon, seeing as Riley for as long as she can remember has always had trouble sleeping on nights when the moon is high in the sky.

But recently life has suddenly become unbearable for Riley.

Her mother as become obsessed with private schools and saying how the public school system is corrupt.

Her mother has been moving her from one private school to another for six years.

Always being the new kid Riley never fit in at any school she had ever been to. Until she finally finds one school where she doesn't feel like an outcast.

But things start to become strange when one day at lunch her friend Koi never returns from the forest behind the school where they usually hang out.

Becoming worried Riley goes to investigate only to find that her best friend was about to become the next tasty meal of a vampire.

A week later Riley undergoes an unusual transformation, only to find out she's a werewolf and so are her two best friends.

They form a three wolf pack, claiming it is their duty to protect humans from becoming unsuspecting meals for vampires.

But what happens when Anika, one of Riley's best friends, gets kidnapped by a scientist who she interns for, who had discovered the girls secret?

Koi and Riley search for clues for the whereabouts of Ani only fall into the grasp of a power werewolf named Aiden who suspiciously knows an awful lot about Riley.

Somewhere along the way she discovers that vampires are not soulless and some may even be capable of feeling love, but will it last.
