Fate

The morning sun filtered through the silk curtains, casting golden light over the carved stone walls. Felix stirred beneath the weight of velvet blankets, his light golden brown hair strands catching the sunlight making his golden brown hair shine like honey. The sunlight crept through the heavy drapes and spilled across his face like warm fingers. Felix winced, turning his head away with a soft groan. He pulls his blanket over his head not wanting to wake up. He always felt like himself when he was sleeping and not putting up an act for the kingdom.

All of a sudden the door banged open. Bare feet patterned across the marble floor. Before he could shield himself, something small and fast launched onto the bed.
"Felix, get up! Father says we're having guests today and I need you to braid my hair like last time!" Oliver yells out as she jumps onto his bed trying to pull off his blankets.
Feilx doesn't get up right away instead, he buries his face in his pillow, avoiding the morning and responsibility. He lets out a soft groan not wanting to get up he turns over his back facing her.
