Harley Marree moved to the OBX 4 years ago, after her mum and dad were divorced she went to live with her aunt. She needed to get out. Of Australia that is. she never got along with her mum and when her parents split up her dad moved to Western Australia for work, so she took that as a chance to go live with her fav aunt over in America.

Her First few weeks of school over in the Outerbanks were a little rough you could say, she started out at the Figure 8 high school, but that didn't last long after her being caught smoking weed in the bathroom and punching Rafe Cameron, her Aunt moved her to the school on the cut. See she wouldn't have played hands on the mentally disturbed boy but he ha been getting on her nerves since the day she started. With all his little snarky comments on her body and her "redneck" accent. Shed had enough.

Since then she had made her life long friends the Pouges or the Pougies. She ment Kie first in her English class. Kid noticed her scrolling on instagram liking pics of turtles. Since then the to girls never can stop talking about the cute sea animals they see when on the boat. It wasn't long till she met the rest of the group she was always egging Pope on about him being a nerd, John b and her would go fishing together while they waited for Kie and Pope to finish work. And then there was JJ Maybank, that blonde haired boy with the ocean blue eyes . God she could stare into them for hours. JJ had always known she had a little thing for him and he liked it. He loved seeing quickly she would go red in the cheeks when he called her "princess". He'd be lying if he said she didn't make him feel something he didn't with other girls. She Mae him feel complete. But there was no way he'd ever tell her that. Nope he'd simply just act like a cuddly, over protective, flirty best friend. Along as that meant he didn't have to be vonerable and admit his feelings.
