Ian is an Angel; a failed experiment that ran off on his own. He's abandoned his trainers, the people who raised him, and the subjects just like him, all for a man who doesn't even want him. He doesn't care, though. He'll take David over anything in the world. His mind is still full of questions he wants answers to. Where is David from? What experiences did he have before Ian met him? Ian wants to know *everything*.
David is termed Demon-spawn by everyone who's met him; he's ruthless, apathetic, and cold. His job as an assassin for the Guild takes him to dangerous places, and eventually numbed his icy heart. He hates the feeling of being followed, but can't quite identify where it's coming from. Is it a rival? Is it the Guild spying on him again? He only knows that he hates the feeling of that icy cold leash snapping around his neck again, and he's determined to end whomever is behind that.
They met when they were 16. David didn't feel anything at all; Ian was just someone who was bound to slip out of his life, another friend who'd be gone by the end of the year. And Ian? Well, he got far too attached. Now, seven whole years later, they're both entirely different. What will happen when they clash?
