The Human Malady [MxM]

When half-angel Ariel Bast-once lauded as the most powerful vampire hunter ever raised by the Church of the Benevolent-falls violently from grace, he is rescued by Carmine 'The Puppeteer' Ol'Gamoth, a vampire notorious for his supernatural charisma and profane powers.

Now powerless, Ariel is left in the clutches of Carmine who, despite being expected by vampire society to kill the hunter, finds himself deciding to guide Ariel to safety, wanting to repay an old debt. Ariel, determined to somehow enact justice against Carmine, goes along with the vampire's seemingly meaningless whims.

But what happens when these two creatures, made to believe they are as far from human as they can get, start to discover that there are some parts of being human they can never run away from?
