Armageddon is a new developed drug introduced to the world in early 2000's.
Individuals who take this drug go through a series of symptoms.
They experience headaches, high fevers, their skin and the sclera of the eye changes to a greenish/yellowish color.
Within five or six days of the first dosage,
Your face develops cysts and hair loss begins.
After two weeks, the drug begins to devour the brain and eyes.
After a month, the subject dies.
The drug takes control, bringing back the subject as a vessel.
Before all this happened; I found out the U. S. Government had one of the secrets lots of us were trying to uncover.
They took me in as a lab rat; using me for their experiments.
A. L. D they were called; short for Artificial Life Development.
They tried to delete my memory from all those procedures, but I escaped successfully.
Now the Armageddon took over, the only hope we have left is ourselves, the Geddons.

Carisa's been running for her life the past two years. Loosing her loved ones and anyone she grows close to. The apocalypse was caused by an alien raise coming to earth and proclaiming they'll fix the planet. Their way to 'fix' it being destroying humanity with a plague. However they didn't expect the human body to be as persistent as it is, the infection they spread mutating and making humans reanimate with a hunger for flesh. They thought they could contain it, control it even, but it's spreading faster than they thought. The world is dying faster than ever before. And Carisa only want to survive, to make it to the next day, bumping into an Alien she thought she'd be petrified. But upon further inspection... their not that much different that humans. Curiosity at its peek with both of them and so she gains a tail always creeping behind her. The aliens just won't let her go. Story is written on my free time so it has a lot of typos, sorry. You Were Always a Daydreamer Draft Version
When you're forced to mask Reality with Fantasy. The lifted layers finally unveil the tombstone of self. The biggest cities into the tiniest pebbles The massive ideas and thoughts formed into merely something to fear. A protagonist who already forgot his name Remembers He is a Daydreamer. Which is the only way to cope with life after multiple tragedies. And the fraud on fake friends faces. Only to daydream. As losing touch takes a toll on that rotting indulgence slowly. This get's quite horrific as it goes on. It's not to enjoy but to reflect on and experience. I decided to publish the draft version, because I don't think I can fully finish YWAADD final edition any time soon. I am in the worst mental and emotional state ever. It's quite a struggle and I suffer heavily. So yeah, the polished draft kind of holds up aswell too. The final one is way longer and eventful. So, um yeah I don't expect this to get attention at all, it's kind of really mid in some parts. But enjoy, or don't I guess. Yes this was inspired by Everywhere At The End Of Time. A Different Virus - Laura's Story
This is a second view point from my original story - A Different Virus - Heartfire. I highly advise reading the original book first. Intro: Laura was a happy child without a care in the world. She loved her parents and life was perfect. Nothing seemed like it could go wrong. People started talking about a bad flu that was spreading and sending some into a coma. Her parents grew worried and stocked the house in case of a pandemic. Months later another virus appeared. Her family was shocked when the news people started reporting that zombies were actually real and not just part of a horror movie. They were appearing in every country. Her parents reassured her that none of the zombie sightings had been anywhere close to them. Her life is turned upside down when her father ends up in hospital with the bad flu and mother exiles her upstairs for her safety. She was never allowed downstairs again. Weeks pass and the streets become deserted with the exception of the red eyed zombies that wandered around. One night she notices a swiftly moving figure with glowing blue eyes in the street below. Should she call out or remain silent? Three months ago, a thick, white powder covered the Earth overnight. Not snow, but spores, hundreds of spores, all from an unknown source. Those that came into contact with the substance became spore-touched: violent, uncaring, every one able to turn into plants hundreds of feet tall and rip apart the world itself. Three months ago, Mya lost her humanity, and with it, everything she knew. Not all at once, but every day is another memory gone, all washed over by new instincts, identities, and wants. In a city slowly being torn apart by the massive vegetation of her new kind, her options either to join their collective, or escape with what remains of herself, her days are spent surviving, and hiding amongst Humans. Humans that will burn her alive the second she's caught. The only thing she has is a water bottle and the goals of her former self, but the likelihood of achieving them in a post-apocalyptic world is bleak enough, and that's if she can still remember them by the end of the week. So when another spore-touched offers to take her to a supposed safe haven, all with the hope that they both can be turned back, she takes it. In a futuristic world, the residents have no say. From birth, they are monitored and chosen for the jobs within society. Some have more potential than others and are selected by the Elders before they start their formal schooling to fulfill prestigious positions after graduation. These students train together in a special facility and are respected by the society. Belle and Derek both hold those prestigious positions. Belle as an Agent and Derek as the Executioner. They've been accused and tried for the murder of a respected Agent. A murder that they did not commit. Now, they are thrust into the experimental punishment that is the Ki'i. The convicted are thrust into an enclosed area and left there until only one remains alive. The last one standing gains his or her freedom and a secure job in the government. Belle and Derek are best friends and neither one are willing to kill the other, but when their circumstances change, they have a chance to fight back against the Elders that sentenced them. Bursting out of the ground, they wasted no time starting to scan people, and ultimately decided their fate. You were either judged unworthy and disposed of, or you were 'Accepted' and turned into a weapon. I saw as my best friend was murdered right before my eyes. Shaken up and unable to move, I knew it was my turn next. The machine picked me up, and with it's one eye, it looked at me and scanned me. Afterwords, it spoke "Chimera." What does that mean? The next thing I knew, I woke up, and my life was never the same again. A war had broken out between our own kind, separated by titles those mechanical things gave us: "Rejected or Accepted."
