Hope is quickly fading, and the Court of Terrasen is beginning to get desperate. As a last resort, Rowan turns to the enemy for help. Feyre Archeron, High Lady of the Night Court, is ready to go home to Velaris. However, she can't do so until she breaks the Spring Court and gets her revenge, and it's taking longer than she expected. But when she wakes up in a place she doesn't recognize, the Spring Court and Night Court are forced to work together to survive the new world they've entered. Their survival might just rest in a group of strange Fae warriors looking for their close friend. Dealing with the struggles of war is hard enough, but internal struggles on both sides is escalating, and making the already-difficult war into something nearly impossible to stop. So yes-another royal novel on Wattpad. But not that kind. The male lead is a king, but there's no mafia nonsense here. He's not going to shoot every man who looks at his wife. He understands that a woman can have male friends, that a handshake isn't a threat, and that not every man who speaks to the female lead is evil. Mostly because he knows something very important. She doesn't need saving. She is more than capable of breaking bones if someone touches her inappropriately, poking eyes if someone looks at her the wrong way, and knocking out teeth if someone dares to disrespect her. The female lead is not your typical Sati-Savitri, Sarvagun-Sampann heroine. Okay-she is. But she's also a bad bitch. A modern woman with ambition, power, and dreams bigger than palaces. The characters in this story are kaleshi, not toxic. And yes-there is a difference. There may not be clear villains here. And even if there are, remember this: Every villain is a victim of something too. This is a story of royalty without glorifying control. Power without erasing softness.
