Love can be unexpected, swift, and perhaps even fleeting, much like the En Passant move in chess. Jiya Trivedi, a best-selling author, much like I wish to be, dear reader, wants to write her second romance novel in which the main characters are chess players. Her father works at chess.com and she decides to accompany him to certain events to get inspired and gain a deeper understanding of chess and the atmosphere related to create an accurate saga. In the process, she meets an intriguing character who is also the world chess champion, Gukesh Dommaraju, and embarks on a little adventure herself. What plot twists can this character influence in the novel of her life?
