"Markies"- or dark wizards who hadn't been given life in Azkaban- are finally done with their sentences. In order to teach them how to function without magic as their one year probations begin, each Markie is sent to shadow a muggle-born.
Hermione Granger is struggling to forgive any Dark wizard after the Battle at Hogwarts. So, in order to start the process, she volunteered to house one for a year. When Draco Malfoy is assigned to her, she realizes it's going to be a lot harder than she initially expected. Between this and her ongoing research project for the Ministry, for the first time in five years, Hermione has her hands full.

When everything seems to be falling apart, sometimes all you can do is hold on. Hold onto what, is the question though.
