What do you do when paint splattered chaos breaks down the walls of passion?
Amelia is an ambitious but uptight defence attorney who works downtown. She's got a sharp jaw, and an even sharper tongue but she knows when she puts her foot in it. Amelia puts her work first, she doesn't do casual, and she certainly doesn't do messy feelings. She is precision and control, polished to perfection, with cracks she refuses to show, standing tall in her blazer and heels. Amelia hasn't been touched in a way that's made her tremble for years.
Riley is a carefree artist, living in the loft above her studio that smells like citrus and wine on the opposite end of town. She's free spirited, symbolic and a little bit sensual and not only with her art. She is chaos, passion and temptation all wrapped up in a silk gown or denim overalls, and there's no in between. Riley dreams of all consuming romance, like the true artist she is.
Amelia's law firm is sponsoring a local art show where she somehow gets roped into "supporting the local creatives". When Amelia lays eyes on Riley as she's standing in front of her art piece, describing her work there is a spark of instant electricity.
