At The Organization Of Fun in Seussville, The Cat In The Hat is one of the star employees there. Beloved by his fellow Seussian coworkers Sam-I-Am, Guy-Am-I, Gluntz, The Lorax, and even The Grinch, they all love working with Cat, helping to spread fun and cheer kids up. 

But one day, after plenty of assignments have gone off without a hitch, Horton T. Elephant and Ms. Sour Kangaroo (the Cat's bosses) give Cat his biggest one yet: to travel to the big city of New Smizzleton and cheer up a pair of "uncheerable" kids named Matt and Billie, who are stuck sitting at home on a rainy day.

In the big city of TFCH (The Foot of Critteriffic Heights) one cat critter in specific has been living day by day, trying to stay happy in his current household.
