Pharaoh Akhenatem had ruled Egypt with a stone heart and an iron fist. And when his cruelty gets out of hand, a red-eyed wizard curses him and sends him thousands of years into the future to a world where ignorance, arrogance and selfishness rules. But of all the places he could have landed, he ends up finding his way into the life of May.
With the help of May's kind and selfless nature, an unexpected love finds the both of them as May comes to realize that evil is not as simple of a concept as it seems and that everyone has their own story.

The guards grabbed me, forcing me to enter the room I didn't even want to be in. I didn't want to be here. I didn't want to be captured. And most of all I didn't want to see this mendacious pharaoh. I hated this man! Absolutely hated him. His eyes filled with intense hate as he stared at me. He looked at me with a bored expression on his face. "I thought I told you to bring me the rebel leader, not some vacuous little girl." Anger started boiling inside me. The guards were about to respond but I interrupted them. "Why Pharaoh! What makes you believe I am not the rebel leader?" He looked at me annoyingly."Well for one thing you're a girl" I was completely enraged! "How sexist! You think that just because I'm not a man I can't be a leader! People like you disgust me! It sickens me that I even looked up to you as a child! I idolized you! Followed you everywhere! Thought-" I quickly covered my mouth realizing I had said to much. This isn't how I imagined the situation when I finally saw him again. I couldn't control my anger around him. The pharaoh's board expression turned into a more interested one. "You talk as if we have met before but I have absolutely no clue who you are! By all means I'm interested.... What are you called?" This was really bad! If I told him my name he would kill all of my comrades too. I had to lie... For their sake. "Neith..." The Pharaoh's eyes quickly snapped to me. "Let me rephrase my previous question... Tell me your FULL name and don't you dare give a fake one either or I will slaughter every single member of the rebel army... Even family members who weren't even involved will be killed." It was over! I couldn't let him kill all of those people. I guess my time was up now. He cornered me in to a wall. Yugi, a young boy who was a servant for the royal family in Egypt, had stumbled upon the young prince with one of his teachers in the garden. Yugi was not allowed to befriend or speak with Atem unless asked or forced to. One day, Yugi was playing with some of the other servant kids until the young prince and his friend Mana were out in the field kicking some rocks. The young servant had not realized on how much he and the prince looked alike, the only 2 differences were that Yugi was way more paler and was not royal. Yugi had somehow gotten hurt, and this is where the relationship began. As his "friends" left him because they could not handle the crying, the caring prince and his friend rushed over to his aid. The servant just thought they'd help so none of their 'slaves' would be harmed and could continue working but that's not how Atem saw it. Later on things had happened to where the prince had ordered his father to keep Yugi in the palace, so the two grew up together until war began. For 3 years Atem had left.. Yugi hopes to see him soon someday.Complete
