Twenty-year-old Destiny Trent is a genius, one with perfect memory and a bright future. Learning and processing information had always came easy to her, but nothing prepared her for the impossible situation she found herself in on a random Tuesday Afternoon. Transported to what first appeared to be the past, 15th Century China, to be exact, but later proved to be even more impossible, Destiny was not prepared for this. You couldn't genius your way out of being seen as a foreign devil the likes of the random village she landed in butt naked hadn't ever seen before (literally) and nearly executed on sight.
