Jude:
People always say I've got the kind of face that looks like it's seen too much for someone my age. Maybe they're right. I'm not the loudest guy in the room. Hell, most of the time I'd rather just watch from the back than try and talk about what's on my mind. But when I love, I love hard. Always have. That's just how I'm wired. When Winnie came into my life, everything changed. She wasn't just my best friend-she became the person who made life feel bigger than farm chores and family dinners. Even after she walked out, I still catch myself wondering if she sees the same sunsets I do. And if she ever thinks of me when she does.

Winnie:
I've never exactly blended in, not with the hair, not with the freckles. I used to wish I could smooth it all out. I have always needed movement. It used to be on the basketball court, but that's in my past. I chased what I thought life was supposed to be. I wanted to be a doctor once. Nursing made more sense in the end. I'm still learning how to breathe through the tight moments, when my chest feels too small and my thoughts too loud. As for Jude... Being with him felt like standing still in the best way. I still think of him when the sky turns that kind of blue you only see before the sun dips down. He's everywhere and nowhere now. And even though I keep moving, a part of me still looks over my shoulder, wondering if he ever looks back.

I watch as he looks turns to look at me to be sure I am following along, and then his eyes just wait on me and his mouth stops moving. I watch him mouth my name and tilt his head to read me. She's a wild, free spirit who sees the good in everyone, and he's the hardened, bad-tempered loner who wants nothing to do with her-yet no matter how hard he tries to push her away, she's the one temptation he can't escape. *** He's never met someone with such a bubbly personality. Not to mention the wildness and odd phrases she says every five minutes. He hates it. He hates how he can't stay away from it. He hates what she does to him; it's not like him to chase after some girl. She gets under his skin like no other. She's never met someone with such a bad attitude. He's ill-mannered and menacing. The glare never seems to leave his face. Considering it all, she can't help but feel the attraction toward him. Dangerous attraction toward a seemingly dangerous man. Maybe it's the tattoos on his arm that gets her attention. Or maybe it's because she can tell there's hope for good under his rough exterior. And she's about to find it, whether he likes it or not. It's no secret that the two of them are complete and total opposites. *** "You like being called Sugar, don't you?" I tease, placing my toothbrush back after finishing. He does the same and gives me a side-eyed scowl. He grips my chin harshly and kisses me. My body temperature raises a good ten degrees and my right leg goes all wiggly. He pulls away. "You like it when I kiss you, don't you?" He teases the same way I did to him and I'm left blubbering. "I think both of our questions are rhetorical," I lower my voice up at him. His lip curls up into a smirk. *** #1 in Young Adult #9 in Badboy #1 in Cold #3 in Goodgirl #1 in Sweetheart #14 in Love *** *Warning* This story contains mature themes (language, scenes)

"That was ages ago, how do you still remember that?" "Because when I walked into that room, I was mesmerized by the image of you. That was the most beautiful sight I have seen in my entire life. A moment so special it made all of my senses come to a standstill. I just couldn't look away. If I had snapped a photo of you back then, you probably would have thought I was an odd one, so I didn't. But god, I wish I had. I remember walking back into my room that evening and cursing my hands for not being able to draw. If I ever learn how to-which I will-that memory will be the first thing my pencil will mimic on paper." • 𖤝 • Daisy had her life back in order-or so she deluded herself into thinking-until one reckless mistake has her spiraling out of control again. Now she's stuck sharing an apartment with her brother's best friend for a year. Living with him would've been fine-if she hadn't sent him that damn nude. The one he left on read. Her plan to avoid him doesn't last long. She's sunshine and chaos, desperate for conversation. He's walls and silence, determined to keep her out. The harder she tries to break through, the more she realizes that beneath his cold exterior is the one person who might actually keep her grounded. The Surgeon's Heart by rhonda92
31 parts Complete Mature
I've always been better with hearts that have stopped beating than ones that are breaking. I Dr. Daniel Cross has it all figured out-surgical schedules, patient charts, the precise angle needed for a flawless incision. What he can't decode? The way Sarah Talbot looked at him in high school biology class, or why he still thinks about her sixteen years later. Back then, I was the awkward kid who could explain cellular mitosis in excruciating detail but couldn't tell when the prettiest girl in school was flirting with me. I had one shot to tell her how I felt before leaving for medical school, and I blew it spectacularly. Now I'm the youngest Chief of Surgery at St. Helena Medical Center, respected by colleagues, feared by residents. My hands save lives daily, but I've never figured out how to hold onto love. My apartment is sterile, my routine rigid, my social skills still a work in progress. Then she arrives in my ER-beaten, broken, barely conscious. Sarah. The girl who got away because I was too blind to see she never wanted to leave. She needs a place to heal. I need to learn that some things can't be solved with scalpels and sutures. As she recovers in my guest room, the careful walls I've built around my heart begin to crack. But loving someone means understanding them, and I'm still learning to read the language of emotions. Can a man who sees the world in patterns and probabilities learn that love isn't a diagnosis to be made, but a feeling to be felt? A slow-burn romance about second chances, finding yourself, and discovering that sometimes the heart knows what the mind can't comprehend.

River: When I least expected it, my angel finally walked into my orbit, looking like a prayer come to life. Until I completely fucked it up by tripping over the pants around my ankles and accidentally motorboating her perfect breasts. Needless to say, she ran away as fast as she could to get away from me. Fortunately for me, she just happens to be the new receptionist at my vet clinic. Unfortunately, she won't even look at me. That's okay though, because she's mine and I'll do whatever it takes to prove it to her. Even if that includes watching her every move and manipulating her into wearing my ring on her finger and sharing my last name. I thought my brothers were unhinged when it came to their women. Turns out I'm the most unhinged of them all. Ivy: Taking a new job in the small town of GaleTown, Texas was supposed to be my new start after finding my fiance balls deep in my best friend. I was supposed to focus on myself and my own personal growth after having my world turned upside down. Fortunately, I quickly fell in love with this little town and finally see the light on the other side of the storm. Unfortunately, I walk in on one of my new bosses getting a bathroom BJ right before he face plants into my chest while calling me Angel. Now the infuriating man won't stop watching me with a heat in his eyes that sets my panties on fire. But I learned my lesson about playboys the hard way, and I'll never make that mistake again. That's what I told myself anyway until I wake up in Vegas with a ring on my finger and a naked River in my bed. Now he's refusing to let me go and a part of me keeps softening with every soft look and sweet caress. This is part of a series. The first three books can be found on my page. Each book is a standalone that focuses on a different couple. This series follows the Brooks brothers as they find their destined soulmate.
