With planet Earth beginning to take its last breath, relocating the human race to Pandora is becoming increasingly crucial. This will be no easy change - Pandora, despite being more than suitable for relocation, varies drastically from Earth, down to the very air they breathe. To begin introducing the world of Pandora to the people, Pandoran Zoologist Etta Adams establishes the first ever zoo on Earth with exhibits featuring the beautiful fauna of their soon-to-be home. But it's been nearly twenty years since the zoo's grand opening, and profits are still struggling. They needed something big, something better. They needed Na'vi. {Cover Art by 𝐈𝐤𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐫 on Pinterest!!}

By the year 2170, Earth is on the brink of collapse, facing numerous challenges such as deforestation, air pollution, famine, human overpopulation, and widespread flooding. The planet is struggling with severe environmental degradation and the depletion of resources, primarily due to the relentless exploitation by humanity, resulting in a nearly shattered ecosystem. The Earth is now fragmented into various nation-states and regions surrounded by ever-diminishing forests and national parks. Once a land of abundance, the 22nd century sees agriculture primarily dominated by protein farms. Coastal areas have shifted focus to mariculture, primarily harvesting phytoplankton and spirulina. Much of the planet's terrain has been transformed into bleak wastelands. A striking example is the Nevada Toxic Flats, and the once-majestic granite domes of Yosemite have been replaced by luxury condominiums, while the nearby Yosemite Falls have been reduced to a meager, polluted trickle.
