Hiyori longs to be the greatest female Hashira there ever was, her powers seem to be defy what little reality there is in this world along with her half demon heritage. Scarred by the knowledge of her creation along with that night in the snowy mountian temple, she seeks power and control over her future. At the young age of twenty, she has successfully climbed the ranks within the Demon Slayer Corps, enough to be noticed by Master Oyakata as a powerful warrior. The Master has choosen for her to shadow and learn the way's of one of the current Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku.

Though they must remainn teacher and student, it's hard when her prowess succeds even his own. The way she trained herself, how she runs off of pure rage and sorrow. He wishes to turn her wrath towards the world into something else, as he can sense there's something lying in her just beneath the surface; something daring to kindle and spark into a flame that never ends.
