Mood Ring
Many might see death and its companions (e.g. grief, depression etc.) as harmful experiences in life. But this story tries to tackle this perception and recount a story that portrays my view of death as an old friend that pays his visits not because he enjoys seeing you die, but because he cares about your transition. After all, life is what's killing us, death is just the observer, one that cares more about you than you might expect.

Izuku forgotten in the forest by his step father for being quirless at the age of four all was seemed hopeless and was left to die but he wasn't going to let that happen with a new resolve he marched forward and made a vow to never let be stepped on ever again. The plan for this story is to detail the life of a fairly average man in a fantasy setting however I don't know were it will go from there. I fully intend to explore all aspects of the world I am creating and life is not kind nor truly monstrous so don't expect an edge lord but don't walk in with a thin skin either.

Izuku was always the type to take the moral high ground, no matter how morally grey his views got when in battle as a teenager. No matter how wrought with emotion and laden with selfishness, he knew to always do the right thing and never hurt others in his pursuit for a desired goal. No matter how desperate, it was always better to do the right thing. That's why perhaps it was a bit confusing to know that he had found himself in a bit of a love affair. He wasn't all too sure how he got himself in that predicament, he always thought of himself as a gentleman who was pure hearted, loyal and always spoke his mind but this contradicted everything he thought of himself; all of who he was. It had developed slowly, creeping up from behind the dark recess of his mind like a ghost until rearing its ugly head one day to become fully known to him. OR: when Izuku Midoriya gets his head out of his ass because he had a wet dream about his childhood friend and it confirmed that he, in fact, was not at all over his feelings for him and it was about damn time he did the right thing. ---- (not an infidelity fic but Izuku does realize his feelings DURING his relationship)

This doesn't stop him and as he tries to work his way to being a hero as the stars shined upon him a unlikely hero was destined to find him again. Izuku's dream of becoming a hero has changed due to being adopted into a Yakuza family after his own mouth passed away from a rare illness that couldn't be treated, after his mother's funeral he was taken away to a orphanage, and why he was there all the children bullied him for not having a quirk but one day a beautiful woman walks into the darkness looking for a young child to adopt, all the children surrounded the woman to let her pick one of them but while she was surrounded by the children she notices a sad green haired boys sitting alone, she approaches the sad boy and presents her hand to him, Izuku takes her and from that he knew that he has gotten a new family to take care of him, but what he didn't know was what type of family do you wear.
