Joss lives a life made of structure-measured days, symmetrical hours, the soft hum of predictability that fills the air between meetings and microwave dinners. He doesn't speak much. He doesn't need to. His world fits neatly into cells on a spreadsheet, and most of the time, that's enough.

Gawin, a few floors under, lives differently. He draws book covers for stories no one remembers. Brews tea in chipped porcelain cups. Records podcasts about things that pass too quickly to hold-like the sound of shoes on wet pavement, or the hush in a room when someone leaves just before they speak.

They've never met. Don't know each other's names. But every Monday, at precisely 3:02 a.m., something small and quiet moves between them-a playlist, left like a trail of breadcrumbs in the dark.

One sends. One receives. One lingers in sound. One folds into silence.
No conversations. No promises.
Just music that feels like a memory you can't place, and stories that feel like someone waiting with the light on.

And over time-through nameless songs, forgotten alleyways, and the curve of a moss green jacket with cuffs the color of rust-their worlds begin to soften at the edges, touch in places neither of them meant to leave open.

It's not sudden. It's not loud. But it's real. And sometimes, love arrives like that. Quietly. Without knocking. Without a name. Just... there.
