Soleil Therese is the ultimate dream girl - top student of her batch, a former university student council president, and the reigning Ms. University of St. Martin 2024. So, when she found out that her boyfriend (turned ex) cheated on her with her best friend (turned ex), Soleil Therese only had one thing in mind: revenge. She needed to remind everyone, most importantly her ex-boyfriend and ex-best friend, of who they lost. She would make them regret it until it haunts them until their very last breath. Now, one thing's left to make this plan possible: a pretend boyfriend. She does not want a boyfriend, yet. In fact, diring-diri na siya sa mga kalalakihan. But Soleil knew that to make this plan perfect, she needed to have a man. She knew that her achievements would suffice, but having a boyfriend would be the cherry on top. And Ares Rome Sanchez, her ex-boyfriend's teammate, is the perfect man for the job. Ares, a multi-awarded and top-performing student-athlete, having won back-to-back MVP awards, a 3x Mythical Five member, in just his third year, and an academic achiever, is any girl's dream. And despite him not being Soleil's type, she was determined to get him to play the part in making her plans perfect. The thing with life, though, is that it has its ways of messing up your plans.

At Grandview University, chaos was basically a course on its own. Between professors who thought PowerPoint slides were modern art, cafeteria rice that could double as building cement, and roommates who believed deodorant was "a capitalist scam," life was already funny enough. But then there was Karenita Lopez-"K-Lo" to everyone on campus. A drama major with the energy of three telenovelas and a TikTok account dedicated solely to overacting. She walked like the hallways were her runway and spoke like everyone had subscribed to her personal Netflix series. And then there was Derrick Johnson-quiet, chill, and dangerously allergic to gossip. He wasn't exactly shy; he just had a magical ability to avoid nonsense. Which unfortunately made him the number one target for the campus rumor mill. The latest? That Derrick was secretly gay-only because he had mastered the art of ignoring clingy girls and focusing on surviving his assignments. K-Lo and Derrick weren't enemies, but they weren't friends either. They shared a special brand of mutual mockery: trading funny, fake-annoyed looks whenever they passed in the hallway. It was the kind of interaction where other students whispered, "They're either going to fight or get married." Nobody expected K-Lo to be the one to flip the script. One random afternoon, she marched up to Derrick in the middle of the hall-like it was an episode finale-and proposed. Not out of love. Not out of destiny. But because K-Lo was tired of being single, and Derrick was tired of the gay rumor parade. So, to everyone's shock, Derrick said yes. And that's how the strangest, funniest fake relationship on campus began... a deal that was supposed to stop the drama but ended up writing the most unexpected love story of Grandview University.
