As a child, Alex was kidnapped and forced into one of All For One's quirk farms-a place of cruel experimentation and darkness.
At just nine years old, she was rescued by the American Hero Association, and her life changed forever.
Taken in by the legendary pro hero Star and Stripe, Alex was trained to defend herself and reclaim her strength. But over the years, Star couldn't ignore the feeling that something dangerous was stirring just beneath the surface.
Now, Alex has been invited to attend U.A. High School-the heart of Japan's hero society.
Could this be her chance to finally find friendship... and maybe even love?
Or will the shadows of her past catch up with her before she can truly begin again?
(This is a slow burn. The first few chapters will be released in one go to see how they do. Then from on, released one by one)

Secrets [Todoroki]
Mirianne Shotomoto has a mother with a tough set of morals. Being the arch-nemesis of Endeavor, her mother, Nightmare, actively searched for ways of taking the number two hero down. Word on the street is, however, Endeavor has a son that's enrolling in U.A., a prestigious school known for producing heroes. Though Nightmare disagrees with heroes and their methods, the chance at finally taking Endeavor down was too good to pass up. Deciding to enroll her daughter was the easy part, however getting her to follow along with her plans was the challenge. Miri was a stubborn girl with two quirks that she has partially mastered over the years. To protect herself and her place at U.A., she refuses to use the part of her she inherited from her villainous mother in public. However, when push comes to shove, Miri slowly starts to realize that limiting herself isn't easy. As the school year goes on, Miri slowly attracts the attention of not only the boy she's supposed to keep an eye on, but as well as some extremely dangerous people. Miri tries desperately to keep her secret, but will it be enough? Will she find common ground in her seemingly on-and-off again friendship with Endeavor's son? How much will she have to sacrifice to finally get to be the hero she always dreamed of? Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach. (OC/Reader x Aizawa)
Y/N L/N is a 23 year old semi-retired pro-hero, after waking up after a fight and having her quirk mysteriously disappear. She finds a job listing for a teacher at U.A., and decides to apply, not predicting the level of assholery one of her co-workers, Eraserhead, would have. She has to try and figure out how to keep on doing what she loves without her quirk, whilst also juggling a bunch of crazy damn kids. This is a story about love, our tragedies and traumas, and how our experiences shape us as people. How we get past our experiences, and what we learn from them. And how those experiences never define us as people. "Stay the hell out of my way." "Try and stop me." UA University was a place for heroes-not for a high-speed, high-stakes racer with a past tangled in shadows. But when the world's most prestigious hero academy suddenly throws open its gates to Y/N, she has two options: Take the offer. Or lose everything. The catch? Class 4-A has been assigned to "watch over" her. And Bakugo Katsuki-the explosive, sharp-tongued future Pro Hero-hates it. She's reckless. Unpredictable. A wildcard thrown into a world of rules and expectations. He doesn't trust her, doesn't want her here. But the more he watches, the more he realizes: Y/N is not just some racer. Y/n is a threat. Not to the school. Not to the heroes. To him. Because she can get under his skin. Because she refuses to back down. Because she sees him in a way no one else ever has. And when the past comes roaring back-when enemies start circling, when the world demands you choose a side-one thing becomes clear: She was never meant to be here... but now that she is? Nothing will ever be the same. ---------------------- "I don't need you." "Liar." .Fire and friction. Sparks and chaos. But this time, when he reaches for y/n- She doesn't pull away.
