BOYNEXTDOOR
Over time I found myself glancing at him more often. Not on purpose. Just casually. Ok, semi-casually. It was dumb. Eye contact doesn't mean anything. We've lived next to each other for years and have barely spoken. Why start now? Still...What if? Nope. No. Absolutely not. I was not going there. Not with the boy next door. -- Y/n's first year of high school starts as she expected it to; mostly good grades, a new friend, and Tsukishima ignoring her- that is, until she starts failing English.

He looked horrifying. (L/n) knew better than to judge people based on their looks but... come on! Couldn't he at least just smile? She huffed out a puff of air and gently sat beside him, careful to leave space between the two of them. "I'm (L/n)." She held out her hand for him to shake. She had decided she would test if he was actually as mean as he looked. He turned to her, his frown still prominent but less threatening than she anticipated. The man took her hand in to his own, a bit roughly, but she could tell he was trying to be gentle. "Aone." He introduced.
