Elementals are rare in Ninjago. You hardly ever see one. That is, not unless you go to The Elemental Circus.
Nya has lived circus for as long as she could remember. Performing alongside the other Elementals and her brother, their performance of fire and water wowing the crowd. That's just the way her life is work, work, work, perform, perform, perform, train, train, train. But sometimes she wishes she could have a different life.
Jay has never known his mother as she died within a week of his birth. He rarely even ever sees his father as he is a famous actor. He wishes he could just leave his life of the "famous actor son" behind but he has to keep his thoughts a secret. So when the ringmaster of the elemental circus invites him to become his assistant he almost immediately agrees.
