(ONGOING) || There comes a time when the fire within begins to dim. The weight of constant responsibilities, silent prayers, and spiritual exhaustion wears down even the most faithful hearts. Many have walked this path, feeling empty, numb, and far from the passion they once had for life and God.

Even the strongest believers in Scripture had moments when their zeal wavered. Elijah, who called fire from heaven, once asked to die under a broom tree. David, the man after God's heart, cried out in loneliness and despair. When the flame flickers, we are not alone.

Here is a 30-day journey drawn from the quiet wrestlings of a servant of God-words born not from strength, but from surrender. Through reflections shaped by the Word of God, may you be reminded that your flickering flame is still seen by the One who never lets the fire die.

He was lost. Worn down by the past, unsure of the future. But even in the silence, something greater was calling. This is a story about grace, healing, and the love that never lets go. Content Note: This story includes themes of grief and healing following the death of a loved one by suicide (not depicted on the page), as well as scenes involving a serious car accident, medical trauma, and emotional distress in a hospital setting. Reader care is encouraged. Author's Note: This story is very personal to me. Growing up, I experienced deep struggles with depression. I'm grateful to say that I no longer carry those thoughts, but those moments shaped me-and they left behind a softness in my heart for anyone who is hurting in silence. I wrote this book to explore the grief that often goes unspoken, the quiet battles people face, and the power of showing up for someone-even when they seem like a stranger. Sometimes the people who seem "attention-seeking" are actually crying out for help the only way they know how. I've been there. And I know how much it matters when someone chooses to care anyway. At the heart of this story is my faith. I believe in God wholeheartedly, and it's His love that carried me through my darkest seasons. This book is a reflection of that-of how God gives us second chances, how He sits with us in the pain, and how He brings healing even when everything feels broken. If you're hurting, please know this: you are not alone. There is hope. There is help. And there is a God who sees you, loves you, and wants to carry you through. I started pushing Noah's arms away from me. "Ma..... May I have a word with you" I said to Noah walking out of the kitchen without waiting for his reply. I walked at the corner of the living room and waited for Noah to come. He came after a few seconds and stood in front of me. The first thing I did was check his temperature with my hand. I am glad he didn't move back to my touch. Instead he was analyzing me. "Are you alright" I asked. He looked at me in confusion. "I am fine. Why?" He asked. "Did you hit your head somewhere" I asked. "No" he said. "Then why aren't you afraid of women. You used to always avoid talking to them or being near them. But today, you.... you are talking to me an........and touching me. That isn't normal........." I stopped speaking when he again started walking towards me. Instantly my feet started moving back. I stopped walking when I felt the wall hit my back. He stood in front of me keeping his hand against my head, bending down to my level looking into my eyes. "What isn't normal" he asked. My eyes flicked to his lips for a second which looked soft. "You.......You are speaking with me. You al.... always ignore me" I said. ****************** Alena Lincoln, the invisible twin. Wanting for love, wanting to achieve her dreams. BROKEN VOW

I stop at the last room, stare at the number on the door and crosscheck it with the one with me. I stuffed the paper away and ready myself for what lies behind the closed door. I lean on the door for a while and could hear voices but were incoherent. I tap twice on the door and the voices stopped. I repeated the process and received a response that sounded more like Hillary's voice. "Who is it?" He asked from behind the door. I knocked back instead, I didn't trust myself to sound differently. The door flew open in a second and I quickly wedge the door with my leg to prevent him from shutting it on my face. His face went pale on seeing me. I scanned him from head to toe. He was only in his brief. He tried blocking my view with his body but I push him aside forcefully. "Who is at the door, love?" Love? What a joke! Both our eyes snapped in the direction of the voice. I thought I heard my heart leap but not for joy, in pains. It was as though a knife was scrolled into my chest. "This is your Ghana?" I scoffed and walked past him in the direction of the voice, "I was at the door" I said catching her attention... • • • • • A charming couple (Nick and Lauren ) had to navigate their way out of a storming marriage that was once cemented by love.
