Starting in a new school is hard. If you've never done it, sorry. Now, everyone knows about the term, bullying. If you've ever bullied someone read this. This story follows Alex Alda, a 16 year old starting at her new school, dealing with the struggles of her life. When you bully someone you don't know what's going on in their life, or how a person might react to the harassment. It will be told from different perspectives focusing on the main character the main character. Thus, The Things Not Seen.

Alex is the new kid at school. After transferring from his private school friendless and bullied, it was safe to say that he was terrified. He lived alone basically. His parents are great, but they're always out on business trips. He had no friends at his old school, he was just the one they made fun of. Alex has some issues of his own. Being alone and hated really takes a toll on someone's mental health. Things look up when he meets two guys in his new school. One of which is really cool and calm, and the other was adorable, handsome, flawless, perfect and funny. Maybe transferring wasn't such a bad thing. I'm not pretty or the perfect weight or have the nicest things, even though many people would think I did with my dad owning his own business. I've got some problems at home and my sisters pretty dependent on me, but what can I do, other than take it all in my stride? But I'm just me, with some added attitude. So why did the new hot teacher come for me? I'm Scott Myer, just out of uni and got a brand new job. Hopefully this job will keep me straight headed so I can have back the only thing I want from back home. Elliot never had friends, he's always been bullied and his parents are both drunkards with a bad temper. All his life he's just dealt with the problems and toughed it out. When he moves to a new house and new school nothing really changes. He still gets bullied, he's still an outcast and his family still sucks. He goes on to live as usual. Then a bully who usually ignored him starts to pick on him more than usual and in very uncomfortable ways. Elliot tries to ignore what he does but, it gets harder everyday.
