Blood and Moonlight (SatoSugu)

Set in the Edo period of Japan, the story features the struggles of Satoru and Suguru as two slave boys who get separated during the war. Their lives take completely different turns, with one having to survive on the bloody battlefield and the other having to hide his emotions behind a mask as a courtesan. But after years of struggle, hope, and waiting the two are finally reunited. But their journey isn't over because there are still many trials to face before they can finally be together again, their love going against the society's norms and morality itself. A story of love, pain, betrayal and hope, showcasing the harshness of life back then along with the struggles the two boys faced simply due to their background.
