It has been one year since Dan Kuso, Earth's strongest brawler, was defeated. His loss wasn't at the hands of Masquerade or any familiar foe, but by a mysterious figure clad in golden armor, known only as Magmel, and his terrifying Darkus Bakugan, Razenoid. Their power was overwhelming-Dan and Drago vanished that day, their fate unknown. Magmel and Razenoid soon abandoned Earth, deeming the planet too weak, not even worth conquering.
