"I will never open my heart again to anyone, not a single soul. I don't want to feel anything anymore." Devastated and heartbroken, Gabriel, a second-year senior high school student, had his heart torn apart by his ex-girlfriend two years ago during Christmas. He doesn't want to feel love anymore; the thought of getting hurt is too much for him to handle, and he promised himself not to open his heart to anyone anymore. One day, his school had plans for their foundation day, and his class needed a representative; he volunteered to be the vice president for their school's foundation day. Amelia, a famous and hardworking third-year senior and the president of the student council at their school, had always been the leading student when their foundation day came. She had always dreamed of making a lot of people happy, which is why she always works extra hard whenever there are these kinds of events. Gabriel swore that he would never feel again, never love again, but his heart has other plans. He felt adrenaline, excitement, and indescribable feelings towards his senior. During the course of seven days being with Amelia and doing the work for the foundation day, will Gabriel open his heart once more, or will he hide his affection and love forever until the day of his rest?

"You had no right to do that," I snap, trying my best to out walk him. His chuckle was loud behind me and his hand griped on my forearm, stopping me. Something about his warmth gave me chills all over my body. Something I don't think I ever wanted in the first place. Especially from him and especially now. "Yes I did, and I still do." His hard grip around my arm loosened, and snaked up to lock his fingers through my hair. Oh Momma, what is happening? Being this close to him has been happening way too often for normal. Still, I couldn't break away from this close contact, I was frozen, shocked. "What makes you think that?"
