Alistair is tired. He's ran from himself from a very young age, and has decided humans and mer alike are all the same. Hateful, spiteful and full of ulterior motives. Kindness has strings attached; always. And his had just as many strings, if not more.

That is until he meets her. An ancient vampire princess, entombed for gods knew how long under a crypt. Her enigmatic and guarded nature oddly similar to his own. Deciding to help her was easy, too easy. Almost as if compelled by the force of a charm spell. What's proving difficult is keeping his own darkness from leaking out, or to live with its consequences.

Feedback is what I started this project for. Writing original work myself but want to hear opinions, any comments are appreciated! 

Born of my very own "head cannon" in which I expand known characters into my own vision of a story already told.

Vilkas x Dragonborn fan fiction Originally titled "You Don't Have to Save The World Alone, Harbinger," but that was long and a little ridiculous. My most recent Skyrim play-through, personal character idea (female nord Dragonborn) and a few head-cannons that went with it. Dragonborn knows she's the Dragonborn and many other things about Skyrim. Companions quest-line, civil war quest-line, and main story quest-line (consider this a spoiler warning!) Mostly from Vilkas's point of view and the Dragonborn's point of view.
